UNESCO declared the Galapagos a Natural Heritage Site for Humanity in 1978, and the Galapagos National Park a Biosphere Reserve in 1984. Later in 2001 UNESCO extended the World Heritage Site designation to include the Galapagos Marine Reserve.
The Galapagos are one of the most popular destinations for students from all over the world, who come here to enjoy the unique biodiversity of the islands and the excellent social and cultural activities the city offers, while they study Spanish.
It’s no wonder that more and more students are choosing to study Spanish in Galapagos.
